Meet Balto and Apollo.
Balto is an adult husky who came to Furry Friends' from a horrible situation, living in a small, outdoor enclosure with no shelter in winter. Balto also never got any veterinary care.
Balto is a large boy who is about 5 years old. His mother was probably a shepherd/hound mix and father was reportedly the neighbor's husky.
Apollo and his littermates were born on a farm where the cat population was quickly becoming overcrowded. Furry Friends spayed and neutered the adults, and the kittens were taken into foster care. Apollo and his siblings are playful, curious and active. They love exploring and playing with each other.
Apollo is a sweetheart and is very pleasant and friendly. He still has his high-energy kitten moments, but he's generally a calm and content boy. Apollo would prefer to be adotped with another foster cat or join a cat in the home.
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered or will be to be ready for adoption then.
If you can offer Balto and Apollo a forever home, please visit the Furry Friends website at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and complete an application today. Foster homes are needed in order to help more animals like Balto and Apollo.
