Each week, The Sentinel publishes stories we receive to prompts in Kids World and on www.cumberlink.com. This week’s Kids Speak Out prompt was “My dream house would have ...”

“If I had to make a dream house, I would make an underground base. It would be 100,000 square feet with 52 rooms. I would get a lot of cats for my secret underground base because cats are my favorite animals. I would also get some cameras because I am planning to get a YouTube channel. On the front door, I would put a code lock, and only my friends would know the code. I would have a lot of fun.”

“My dream house would have a candy bed. The candy would be chocolate. It has cookie walls, and I have a chest full of purple jewels. I love my dream house. I have a tub made out of lollipops. It has pink water, so I could was myself. One time I built a blue jewel floor. My home is so shiny. I love it.”

“My dream house would have all of the sports stadiums in one room and an indoor swimming pool in another. In another room, there is the largest flat-screen TV in the world. I would also love to have a mile-long video game room with a 1/2 mile game room. There is a movie theater room with an auditorium for me to play by viola to an audience. I would have my personal family football stadium, with me being able to play. I would also have a snack, lunch, breakfast, dessert and dinner bar. I would have a library as big as the school, and those rooms would keep doubling and repeating.”

“If I had a dream house, it would have a really big pool. I would also have a really big patio and a really cute, big front porch. In our house, I would have a big master bedroom with a really nice bathroom. My house would have a huge basketball court in the basement, and I would also have a huge gymnastics room with a bunch of mats. Oh, did I forget to mention this was a fixer upper? So, this would be my fantastic dream house!”

“If I had a house, it would be a giant house that is $100 billion. It has a giant room where I play my games, and it has a bunch of bean bags. It is 5 million square feet. It has a king bed in each room, a 75-inch TV in each room. It has 23 floors. It has a rollercoaster stopping on each floor. It has one indoor football field and an indoor pool. It has a movie room and a popcorn stand. I would like to have this house in real life.”
