Several area school districts have canceled classes for Monday and even into Tuesday:

Carlisle Christian Academy -  closed Monday and Tuesday

Carlisle Schools - closed Monday & Tuesday

Cumberland-Perry Vo-Tech - closed Monday and Tuesday

Cumberland Valley Schools - closed Monday and Tuesday

Cherub Montessori Center - closed through Tuesday

Dickinson College - closed Monday and Tuesday

East Pennsboro Schools - closed Monday and Tuesday

Good Shepherd Preschool - Closed through Tuesday

Grace Baptist School - closed Monday and Tuesday

Harrisburg Academy - closed Monday and Tuesday

McCann School of Business - closed Monday

Mechanicsburg Schools - closed Monday & Tuesday

PSU Dickinson School of Law - closed Monday

Shippensburg Head Start - closed through Tuesday

Shippensburg Area Schools - closed through Tuesday

Shippensburg University: closed Monday and Tuesday

South Middleton Schools - closed Monday & Tuesday

Chambersburg Schools - closed through Tuesday

Cumberland Valley School of Music - closed through Tuesday

Franklin Co. Career and Tech - closed through Tuesday

Franklin Learning Center: closed through Tuesday

Penn State Mont Alto - closed Monday and Tuesday

Tuscarora Schools - closed through Tuesday

Waynesboro Schools - closed through Tuesday

Wilson College - closed Monday and Tuesday


Government

Cumberland County CareerLink - closed

Federal Building/Harrisburg - closed

Pa. State House of Representatives - closed

Social Security Office - closed

State offices/Governor's Jurisdiction - non-essential personnel need not report

State Senate - closed


Cancellations

The Newville Halloween Parade scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29 has been canceled. Officials note that trick-or-treat night, scheduled for Wednesday, remains on the schedule.

Newburg has canceled its trick-or-treat night scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30. Officials are discussing whether or not it will be rescheduled.

Shippensburg Borough has canceled its trick-or-treat night scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Holy Spirit Health System's outpatient services will be closed on Tuesday. Elective surgeries scheduled for Tuesday will be rescheduled. Childbirth classes have been cancelled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Pennsylvania Labor & Industry Unemployment Compensation Call Centers will be closed on Tuesday.
