• The following students graduated from Dickinson College on May 19: Emily Kate Marcello, daughter of Doug and Kathy Marcello of Carlisle; Laura Alexis McCauley, daughter of Kevin and Denise McCauley of Carlisle; Belma Mekic, daughter of Sefik and Bija Mekic of Camp Hill; Christopher M. Patrick, son of Douglas Patrick of Hummelstown and Denise Blackley of Mechanicsburg; Emma Victoria Tesman, daughter of Drs. Barry and Johanna Tesman of Carlisle; Liam Timms, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Timms of Hummelstown.

• A local resident was awarded a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Danielle Guldner, of Enola, is the daughter of Donald and Sheila Guldner. She is a graduate of East Pennsboro Area High School and received a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

• Jessica Ann Harner, of Carlisle, received bachelor of arts degrees from Wofford College in Chinese and government. Harner is the daughter of William and Lindsley Harner.

• Liese V. Piper, of Mechanicsburg, was among the 548 students awarded a degree at St. Lawrence University’s Commencement ceremony, held May 19 on campus in Canton, N.Y.

• Edward J. Schultz III, Carlisle, graduated from Keystone College May 18.

• The following local students received degrees from Elizabethtown College on Saturday, May 18: Miroslav Ayrapetian, of Mechanicsburg; Jenna Brnik, of Mechanicsburg; Stacey Clark, of Mechanicsburg; Melissa Lowe, of New Bloomfield; Jennifer Sadler, of Dillsburg; Theresa Snyder, of Camp Hill; Wanda Weiser, of Carlisle.

• Sandra Halbruner, of Mechanicsburg, was awarded the doctor of nursing practice degree in a May 18 ceremony at Wilkes University.

• Andrew Rearick, from New Cumberland, graduated from Malone University May 4 at Faith Family Church in North Canton.

• Holly W. Smith of Grantham, Benjamin T. Weigher of New Cumberland, were awarded bachelor’s degrees during the University of Vermont’s 211th Commencement ceremonies on May 19.

• The following students are members of the graduating class of 2013 at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va.: Brinda Baral, of Enola, Kiersten Rossetto, of Mechanicsburg; Michael Sheeler, of Newville.

• Bucknell University has conferred bachelor’s and master’s degrees to students who completed their graduation requirements during this past spring semester, including: Matthew B. Cherewka, of Camp Hill, son of Michael and Michele Cherewka of Camp Hill; Matthew D. Hager, of Carlisle, son of Janette Hager of Carlisle and the late Robert Hager; Martin F. Jackson Jr., of Mechanicsburg, son of Martin and Marianne Jackson of Mechanicsburg; Kathryn C. Mallory, of Camp Hill, daughter of Bradley and Marcella Mallory of Camp Hill; Brandon I. Morris, of Enola, son of Janice Morris of Enola and Harry Morris of Mechanicsburg; Stephanie M. Murray, of New Cumberland, daughter of James and Cheryl Murray of New Cumberland; Derek J. • The following were awarded degrees from The Univeristy of Scranton at its commencement May 25: Abby Marie Ruud of Carlisle, Jaclyn M. Lapinski of Biglerville, Melissa K. Boyles of Enola, Christa J. Fowler of Mechanicsburg, Tracy A. Lechthaler of Mechanicsburg, Alberta Costa Norton of Camp Hill, Teresa C. Zweiacher of Mechanicsburg.

• Some 746 doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees were awarded as Wilkes University for the first time held separate commencement ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students on May 18, including: Katherine Austin, of Mechanicsburg; Benjamin Beidel, of Newburg; Dayna Davis, of Mechanicsburg; Michael Dupes, of Camp Hill; Tyler Grimm, of Mechanicsburg; Kelly Marrara, of Mechanicsburg; Jeff Minton, of Camp Hill; John Zelenky, of Mechanicsburg; Leann Baer, of Newport; Lauren DeLellis, of Marysville; Duane Jones, of Duncannon; Lindsey Kling, of Duncannon; Traci Olszewski, of Shermans Dale; Trent Savercool, of Millerstown.

• The University of Scranton conferred 1,735 degrees at two commencement ceremonies this weekend, including: Jennifer N. Bullis, of Carlisle; Sean M. Cogan, of Carlisle; Carina D. A. Hanks, of Carlisle; Kaitlin A. Bolster, of Mechanicsburg.

• Sharon Lynn Kessler, of Mechanicsburg, recently graduated from Utica College in Utica, N.Y.

• Six area students received diplomas as Susquehanna University closed its 155th academic year with commencement exercises on May 12. John Arnold, of Mechanicsburg; Alexander Kahle, of Carlisle; Trevor Polly, of Camp Hill; Kristin Shanabrook, of Mechanicsburg; Michael Tilley, of Lewisberry; Matthew Wyman, of Enola.

• Two area students received their degrees from Susquehanna University on May 13, a day after their classmates: Kathryn Gilbert, of Mechanicsburg; Lauren Gilbert, of Mechanicsburg.
