Northern York County Regional Police said a 19-year-old employee of Weis Markets faces charges after threatening a “mass shooting” at work.
Police said Allen Housseal of Dover was at work in the 2800 block of Carlisle Road in Dover Township about 8:45 p.m. Saturday when he told a co-worker that he could start the next mass shooting. He then said he would not shoot the co-worker, but he would shoot one of the other employees, police said.
Housseal was taken into custody Sunday at his home and charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment. Bail was set as nonmonetary, and he is out of prison.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 16.
Police said the investigation continues, and anyone with information should contact them at 717-467-8355.
