Upper Allen Township Police (717-795-2445)

Personal items, including a purse, were stolen from a vehicle in the Cumberland Pointe complex off Wilson Road between 8:15 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sept. 25. Police seek information and remind residents to lock their doors and leave nothing valuable inside their vehicles.

State Police at Carlisle (717-249-2121)

Antonio Javier-Gonzalez, 36, was driving a 2012 Hyundai Sonata north on Interstate 81 north at 5:45 a.m. Sept. 26, and lost control of the vehicle as he approached the Exit 29 interchange. The driver’s side front bumper and fender struck the cable barrier and came to rest on the shoulder of the highway. A passenger, Francisca Menden, 44, of Chambersburg, was transported to Chambersburg Hospital by Shippensburg Area EMS for a suspected serious injury. Neither Javier-Gonzalez nor another passenger, Marlin Martinez, 55, of Chambersburg, were injured.

Someone stole vehicle parts from the PennDOT shed in the 900 block of Centerville Road in Penn Township at 2 p.m. on Sept. 15.

Someone stole a Hilti impact driver and battery pack from a construction site in the 200 block of Westminster Drive in South Middleton Township on Aug. 28.

State Police at Newport (717-567-3110)

Three people were injured in a two-car crash at 2:43 p.m. Sept. 10 on Centre Road in Northeast Madison Township. Police said Christopher Stoltzfoos, 18, of Ickesburg, was traveling east on Centre Road in a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and traveled into the westbound lane as he tried to negotiate a slight right curve. He struck a 2012 Kia Optima driven by Kathy S. Little, 68, of Ickesburg, who was traveling west on Centre Road. Stoltzfoos’ car rolled onto its hood and slid for about 70 feet before coming to rest in the opposing lane of travel. Little was transported by Blain EMS to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for suspected serious injuries. Two passengers in Stoltzfoos’ car had suspected minor injuries. Stoltzfoos and a minor passenger in his car were not injured.
