Andrea L. Hammaker, 25, of Shippensburg, was injured when her 1999 Toyota Camry was rear-ended on Interstate 81 north in Silver Spring Township around 6:30 am. Oct. 10 by a 1998 BMW 540i driven by a driver who fled the scene.
Items were stolen from a porch in the first block of Partridge Trail in Shippensburg Township between 5:40 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Oct. 4.
Jennifer Biranne Miley, 33, of Loysville, was charged with felony theft and two counts each of felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She stole a 1996 Jeep Cherokee on Sept. 14 in Harrisburg, before leaving the vehicle at an abandoned house in Tyrone Township and stealing a 2002 Hyundai Elantra on Oct. 4, according to police.
Between 6 p.m. Sept. 29 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 3, a bicycle was stolen from a garage on Cortney Drive in Southampton Township.
Quinton Louis Tonkin, 19, of Newville, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault, damaging property and summary harassment. Police said he damaged a girl’s iPhone and struck her in the face and body around 10 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 400 block of Middle Road in Lower Mifflin Township.
Edwin Lozada-Lopez, 36, of Mount Holly Springs, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and summary traffic violations. Police said he took a vehicle from the 300 block of McLand Road in South Middleton Township around 12:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and struck an unknown object, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
