A business in the 300 block of Alexander Spring Road in Carlisle spent nearly $50,000 after receiving a fraudulent email for payment of closing costs around 10:45 a.m. Sept. 26.
Between midnight Oct. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 5, a firearm was stolen from a vehicle parked in the first block of Robin Lane in South Middleton Township.
Mail, valued at about $25, was stolen from a mailbox in the first block of Kenneth Avenue in Shippensburg Township between 9 a.m. Oct. 3 and 2:50 p.m. Oct. 5.

Austen Burtnett, 19, of Landisburg, was ejected from his 1997 Dodge Dakota after his vehicle went off the roadway on Fox Hollow Road in Shermans Dale around 7:25 a.m. Sept. 20 and struck and embankment.
Around 1:52 p.m. Sept. 20, a person driving a black pickup truck trespassed at a home in the 100 block of Limekiln Road in Buffalo Township.
Between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 5:15 a.m. Sept. 21, someone attempted to burglarize a home in the 600 block of Fourth Street in Oliver Township.
An Xbox was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Wheatfield Lane in Carroll Township between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 13.
