North Middleton Township Police (717-243-7910)

An undisclosed amount of money and alcohol was stolen from a home in the 1900 block of Waggoners Gap Road. The resident said it may have been stolen on Nov. 15. Police seek information.

A white antique doll crib was stolen from the lawn of a home in the 1900 block of Douglas Drive overnight on Nov. 20-21. The crib is valued at $100. Police seek information.

West Shore Regional Police (717-238-9676)

Police are investigating a burglary at a home in the first block of Hummel Avenue, Lemoyne. The burglary occurred between 7:50 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Nov. 20. Police seek information.

State Police at Carlisle (717-249-2121)

Rafael Vazquez, 23, of Carlisle was taken to UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle for suspected serious injuries following a crash at 4:54 p.m. Nov. 21. Police said Vazquez was driving a 2006 Suzuki GSX600 north on Route 74 in Lower Frankford Township. At the same time, Nathaniel J. Liddick, 38, of New Bloomfield was driving a 2013 Ram 3500 south on Route 74, and Zakary J. Davis, 20, of Dubois, was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 in the same direction. Police said Liddick attempted to pass Davis’ car and another vehicle in a passing zone. He then attempted to merge back into the southbound lane when he saw an oncoming vehicle in the northbound lane. He continued south on Route 74 without making contact with Vazquez’s motorcycle or Davis’ truck. Vazquez then hit Davis’ truck in the southbound lane before coming to rest adjacent to the guardrail.

Chace Thomas Weltz, 26, of Shippensburg was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was arrested on an active warrant at 6:23 p.m. Nov. 20. He remains in Cumberland County Prison on $25,000 bail.

Brenda Elizabeth Prue, 54, of Newville, was charged with retail theft after a store manager followed her through the store and past the point of sale without paying for $851.59 worth of merchandise at 2:48 p.m. on Nov. 21.

Noah W. Powell, 18, of Shippensburg, was transported to UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle after a single-car crash at 2:22 a.m. Nov. 18. Police said Powell was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram west on Route 641 in North Newton Township when he failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection of Route 641 and Long Road. He crossed the eastbound lane of travel and hit a concrete wall. He then fled the scene, and but was found and treated for injuries.

State Police at Newport (717-567-3110)

Kimberly A. Bryner, 29, of Newport was taken to UPMC Pinnacle West Shore for suspected minor injuries following a single-car crash at 9:54 p.m. Nov. 20. Police said Bryner was driving a 2012 Buick Lacrosse east on Middle Ridge Road in Juniata Township when she hit a deer, causing disabling damage to the car.

Wayne Dominic Rainelli, 46, of Mechanicsburg, was charged with simple assault following a domestic incident at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in Landisburg.

The front bumper of a vehicle was damaged at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 20 at Hawk Rock in Duncannon. Police are investigating.

A windshield on a car parked in the 500 block of Weavers Mill Road, Loysville, was broken, possibly by an air rifle, at 1:59 p.m. Oct. 30.

Police are investigating an incident that occurred at 10:13 a.m. Oct. 25 in which someone called a Liverpool man posing as his grandson requesting a money transfer to avoid penalties. The person received the money in Rhode Island.
