Police are looking for a maroon Chrysler PT Cruiser or Chevrolet HHR that struck a parked vehicle in the 200 block of East Garfield Street between 3 and 4 p.m. Jan. 16.

Upper Allen Township Police (717-795-2445)

A crash injured two people about 8:10 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 600 block of West Lisburn Road. Police said Nicole McIntyre of Mechanicsburg lost control of her vehicle, which struck a tree. McIntyre and her passenger were injured.

Rachel Ramey, 25, of East Berlin, Pennsylvania, was charged with theft by unlawful taking after police received a report Jan. 16 that she stole about $500 worth of lottery tickets from a store where she is employed.

State Police at Carlisle (717-249-2121)

Someone took a trailer from the first block of Logistics Drive, South Middleton Township, between 3 p.m. July 17 and 1:47 p.m. Dec. 18, 2017, police reported Jan. 20.

A 17-year-old boy from Newville was injured after he took his eyes off Lefever Road in West Pennsboro Township at 11:50 a.m. Jan. 19, traveled off the road in his 2000 Volvo S40 and struck a tree. He was transported from the scene by Newville EMS to UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. He was cited for failing to drive on roads laned for traffic.

One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 south in Silver Spring Township at 2:46 p.m. Jan. 18. Police said Pan Fei, 38, of Rowland Heights, California, was driving a tractor-trailer and didn’t see two cars stopped for traffic. He struck the rear of a 2008 GMC Canyon driven by Frank R. Loney, 71, of Carlisle, and his vehicle struck the rear of a 2005 Honda Civic driven by Bruce T. Cameron, 22, of Harrisburg. Loney was injured. No one else was injured. Fei was cited for following too closely.

A driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Park Drive in South Middleton Township at 8:57 a.m. Jan. 19. Police said Connie J. Tate, 68, of Carlisle, was leaving a stopped position in her 2012 Chevrolet Impala at the intersection of Park Drive and Petersburg Road, but she did not have clearance and was struck by a 2015 Ford Fiesta driven by Jennifer L. Carey, 45, of Mount Holly Springs. Carey was injured. Tate was cited for failure to follow procedure at stop signs.

Police are investigating a hit-and-run in which a vehicle failed to make a right-hand turn on Barnstable Road, West Pennsboro Township, east of McAllister Church Road at 12:59 p.m. Jan. 17 and traveled through a metal wire fence with wooden posts. The vehicle performed a doughnut in the field, exited the field and fled the area traveling west.

A Carlisle man was injured in a one-vehicle crash on East Main Street, South Newton Township, at 9:51 p.m. Jan. 6, police reported Jan. 20. David V. Brown, 40, was traveling east on East Main Street in a 2000 Buick LeSabre when his vehicle ran off the side of the road and struck a utility pole. Police said they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

A Carlisle woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Stonehouse Road, Dickinson Township, when she lost control of her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt on the snow/slush-covered road at 10:01 a.m. Jan. 18. Police said Brieann N. Arnsberger, 20, over-steered to get back, causing the vehicle to scrape a utility pole and strike a tree head-on. Arnsberger was transported to UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle by Cumberland Goodwill EMS.

Chante Emerald Thomas Shultz, 23, of Mechanicsburg, was charged with misdemeanor providing false identification to police after she repeatedly identified herself as a different person after she was stopped in the 100 block East Allen Street in Mechanicsburg around 4 p.m. Jan. 20.

Between Jan. 17 and Jan. 18, a storage unit was broken into in the 1500 block of Holly Pike in South Middleton Township.
