A tool box filled with power tools was taken from the bed of a pick-up truck parked at Cooper Circle between Dec. 24 and Dec. 26. The power tools are estimated to be worth $1,200. Police seek information.

East Pennsboro Township Police (717-732-3633)

August J. Marchetti III, 37, of Southampton, Pennsylvania, was charged with simple assault and harassment after police said he struck a woman in the head at a residence in the 800 block of Acri Road about noon Dec. 19.

State Police at Carlisle (717-249-2121)

Someone cut one strand of Christmas lights in the first block of Flagstaff Drive, South Middleton Township, between 10 p.m. Dec. 25 and 5 p.m. Dec. 26.

Someone broke the rear window of a vehicle in the 600 block of Doubling Gap Road, Lower Mifflin Township, between midnight Dec. 24 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 27.

A Southampton Township man reported a crossbow stolen after he could not find it after storing it in his son’s bedroom closet in the 100 block of Cherry Grove Road. Police said the crossbow may have been stolen between Nov. 5 and Nov. 16.

Scott Gramm, 44, of Dillsburg, was charged with operating a vehicle without an interlock and summary traffic offenses after he was stopped for driving with no taillights at the Rutter’s Gas Station in South Middleton Township at 8:03 p.m. Nov. 20, police reported Dec. 27. Gramm was found to be driving while suspended for DUI.

State Police at Newport (717-567-3110)

A driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Red Hill Road, Howe Township, at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 21. Police said Dalton C. Roush, 27, of Newport, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier north on Red Hill Road when he failed to slow down for a 2007 Ford Ranger, driven by Carl G. Shetler, 70, of Liverpool, who had slowed down for another vehicle. Roush suffered head injuries in the crash, and both vehicles sustained disabling damage. Newport EMS assisted on the scene.

A television was removed from a front porch in the 1400 block of State Road, Penn Township, at 11 a.m. Dec. 18.
