Shippensburg Police said a late-night stabbing within the borough Monday was an isolated incident and was not a random attack.
Around 10:10 p.m. police responded to an apartment near the intersection of South Prince Street and East Orange Street for a report that a 58-year-old man had been stabbed, according to police.
The victim was taken to Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital as a result of his injuries, police said.
No other information was provided about the identity of the victim and a suspect has not been identified.
Police are currently investigating and in consultation with the district attorney’s office about possible criminal charges, according to police.
