Carlisle Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man they say fled after police tried to arrest him.
Around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, police attempted to stop Tyrone Richard Allen, 25, of Carlisle, while he was driving a silver Honda Accord on North Pitt Street near West Penn Street, police said.
According to police, Allen has outstanding warrants from State Police and the Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office, which prompted the attempted stop.
Allen did not stop when police attempted to pull him over and eventually got out of his vehicle and fled on foot in the 100 block of B Street, police said.
Police canvassed the area, but were unable to find Allen, police said.
Allen is charged with felony fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer, misdemeanor flight to avoid apprehension and reckless endangerment as well as several summary traffic violations, according court records.
A warrant has been issued for Allen’s arrest.
