A Duncannon couple has been charged with multiple offenses after police said they took money from a motorcycle club for personal use.

State Police at Newport said Gregory Lilly, 57, and Lisa Carl-Lilly, 55, served as “commander” and “treasurer” for the A.R.M.E.D. motorcycle club, and were the only ones authorized to make deposits or withdrawals from the motorcycle club’s bank account.

Between Feb. 1, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2016, the couple used money raised by the club for personal expenses, according to police. They also wrote several bad checks from the club’s account, knowing there was not enough money in the account to cover the checks. One of those checks was written out to the Children’s Miracle Network for $4,744.

Both were charged with theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, theft by failure to make required deposits, bad checks and misappropriation of funds. They are being held in Perry County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
