A man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Franklin County, according to State Police at Chambersburg.

Police said Brian L. Miller, 51, of Greencastle, was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 2003 Honda Civic north in the 3100 block of Hill Road in Antrim Township at 6:22 p.m. Sunday when another vehicle exited a driveway.

Police said Miller locked the vehicle’s brakes before disengaging them and traveling onto the other lane. The vehicle hit an embankment, sliding along it and hitting fence posts. When the vehicle hit the sixth fence post, the vehicle began to roll, ejecting Miller from the vehicle. Police said it is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.

Miller was taken to Meritus Hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
