DOVER TWP. — A Dover Township man faces charges after police said he was involved in multiple burglaries of vacant or abandoned homes between January 2012 and January 2014.

James Bruce Boring III, 23, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief after incidents in Dover Township.

The Northern York County Regional Police Department said Boring was involved in 11 burglaries.

The incidents occurred at a home in the 900 block of Conewago Road in January 2012, twice at a home in the 2300 block of Tower Drive in July and August 2013, three times at a home in the 2900 block of Village Square Drive in November 2013 and twice at homes in the 2500 block of Locust Road, the 3400 block of Sycamore Road and the 3200 block of Davidsburg Road in December 2013, and two homes in the 3300 block of Night-N-Gale Drive and the 3600 block of Tower Drive in January 2014.

Boring was arrested Jan. 30, and more charges are expected pending damage estimates.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David Eshbach and held in York County Prison on $75,000 cash bail. Boring is scheduled for preliminary hearings on Feb. 10 and 28.
