On average, 90 percent of all criminal cases are filed by Nov. 23. This chart shows year-end projections based on the average weekly criminal case filings in Cumberland County. Roughly 70 new cases entered the system this week. While 2016 saw an increase in the pace of case filings in the second half of the year, 2017 is on track for a slowing of filings. DUI and drug case filings are still projected to see significant case increases that will be offset by a large decrease in property crime flings. There have been more drug case filings made this year than in all of 2017. Snapshot prison population: 463 inmates
