A Carlisle man faces charges after police say he choked a woman outside of her residence.

Freddie S. Knight-Wilson, 28, of Carlisle was arrested on the charge of indirect criminal contempt after an incident that police say occurred in the 100 block of B Street at 9:50 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, a woman reported that when she arrived home, Knight-Wilson was inside, followed her outside and choked her.

The woman was able to break free and get inside her car, where she was pulled from the vehicle by her hair, police said.

Knight-Wilson then fled the scene on foot and was later found on Sunday in the first block of West Baltimore Street and arrested, according to police..

Police say this violates a protection from abuse order against him.

Knight-Wilson also faces charges from earlier in the month where police say they responded to the same address on March 9 at 12:36 a.m. for an argument, after neighbors complained of noise and could hear the two yelling at each other across the street, according to police.

Knight-Wilson tried to run from officers, and was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct, police said.
