DAUPHIN - State police and the Dauphin County Coroner's Office are investigating the discovery of a body along the Susquehanna River north of Harrisburg.

Trooper Robert Hicks said the body was found around noon along the river in Middle Paxton Township.

He said the body is that of a male and was discovered by a fisherman.

Police said the body has signs of decomposition and appears to have been at the scene, near the Fort Hunter exit of Route 22/322, for about two weeks.
