Bosler Memorial Library in Carlisle will be closed to the public beginning Sunday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 12 as part of its Building a Better Bosler expansion project, according to a release from the library.

During this week, the library staff will be busy moving the contents of the West Wing into the newly completed South Wing. The bookdrop and audiovisual drop on West High Street will remain open throughout the entire period, so patrons may still return items as usual. However, no items will be due during this time period.

Online services, such as research databases, the online catalogue for renewals and requests and digital downloads of ebooks and eaudiobooks will remain available throughout the closure.

The library will reopen on Monday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m., and the new South Wing will be open to the public. The parking lot will also reopen that day.

At that time, all patrons must enter the library via the new parking lot entrance, which is accessible from Church Avenue. The West High Street entrance will remain closed through December as the library moves into the next phase of its expansion project.

As of Aug. 13, the book and AV drops will be relocated to the parking lot.
