Dickinson College will host its annual U-Turn Community Yard Sale to benefit the United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the collection of student-donated items leading up to the day of the sale.

Collection began May 7 and continues through Monday, May 23. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during that time period but need not come every day or stay for the whole time.

Volunteers will be needed for sorting items in preparation for the sale. Sorting will take place June 8, 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Volunteers also will be needed on the day of the sale to help run cash boxes and monitor sales. Day-of hours are from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., although again volunteers are not required to stay all day.
