The TEN Tenors will return to the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center in December for its “Home for the Holidays” show.
The group will perform a mix of festive favorites, modern holiday hits and the rock and classical songs that have made the group world famous.
The group will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 for the show.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the inception of The TEN Tenors, which started as a group of university friends looking to earn extra pocket money while perfecting their craft at an opera school.
The Aussie group has toured the United States nearly every year since 2004.
“There is nothing in the world like the way that America does the holidays, it is unique and it is wonderful, we love it and from the reaction we get from the audiences we think they might love the fun we bring to our holiday shows,” said Paul Gelsumini, tenor and music director. “Usually we seem to work off each other, the more fun we have on stage, the more fun the audience has, and the more energy we get from them in return. By the end it’s a big party for us and the audience.”
Tickets for the show range from $39 to $59 depending on seating, and a group discount is available. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the Luhrs Center box office at 717-477-7469 or visit luhrscenter.com.
