The H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center last week announced its 2017-18 season of shows that packs in musical performers as well as comedians.

The new season will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 16 with Australian hit makers, Little River Band.

Other bands and tribute performances also on the new schedule include Cheap Trick, Chicago, The Oak Ridge Boys, America, The Righteous Brothers and The Beach Boys.

Among the comedians scheduled to take the stage at Shippensburg University are Rita Rudner, Brad Garrett and Jay Leno.
