Dauphin County schools raked up most of the musical nominations from Hershey Theatre’s Apollo Awards, which were announced on April 26.

The awards recognize participating local high school students in musical and play productions. A total of 17 awards will be presented during the ceremony on May 20 at Hershey Theatre.

Here are the nominees for spring musicals:

Outstanding Musical

  • Central Dauphin East High School’s production of “In the Heights”
  • Donegal High School’s production of “Beauty and the Beast”
  • Encore! Home School Productions’ rendition of “Fiddler on the Roof”
  • Hershey High School’s production of “Peter Pan”
  • Palymra Area High School’s production of “Cinderella”
  • Honorable Mention: Lower Dauphin High School’s production of “The Sound of Music”

Outstanding Featured Performer
