Are you looking for something to do this winter and want to learn how to make jams, jellies and other sweet spreads? Penn State Extension in Cumberland County is offering the workshop “Let’s Make Jams & Jellies” on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, at the Cumberland County Service Center, 310 Allen Road, Carlisle. Learn to make successful jams, jellies and other sweet spreads. Find out how to use the various pectin products for a proper set, and why certain ingredients are essential. Some reduced sugar and no sugar recipes will be included.
Instructors for the workshop are Nancy Routch, Extension Educator and Jo’Ann Godshall, Penn State Master Food Preserver Volunteer. The registration fee is $15.
