The Center for Holocaust and Jewish Studies of Penn State Harrisburg presents a concert by Kol HaNeshama, the Harrisburg Jewish Chorus, on Tuesday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Russell E. Horn Spiritual Center, Room 210 in the Student Enrichment Center.
The mixed voices a cappella chorus is directed by Marina Cherepinsky, who has a distinguished career as a performer in her native Russia and in central Pennsylvania as a choral and instrumental music educator, and choral director. Their repertoire includes music composed in a variety of styles with Hebrew, Ladino, Yiddish, and English texts taken from traditional liturgical and more contemporary sources. Light refreshments will be served.
Admission is free and open to the public.
