Burglar disturbed woman in Upper Allen Township home Friday
Upper Allen Township police are seeking the public’s help in locating a burglar who disturbed a woman in her home in the 100 block of Stonehedge Lane Friday.
Police went to the home at 10 p.m. and met the woman, who said she was on a couch in her living room when she looked up and saw a black man standing in her kitchen. She reported the man grabbed two purses and an iPod from the kitchen counter and fled out the back door, police said.
The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot toward the intersection of Allendale Road and Lexington Drive, police said, noting that he is about 5-foot-8 tall and between 175 and 200 pounds, in his late teens or early 20s, and was wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt with a white logo on the back.
